As I mentioned, today was back to work. I did take some time this afternoon to explore Pinnacle Mountain state park. Buddha and I took a two mile hike on the Rock Valley trail. She has become like a horse -- balking all the way until you turn for home!
I also squeezed in a trip to Walmart because my matches were crap and I was having issues lighting my camp stove. I can go with cheese and crackers but don't take away my coffee!! I've saved time and money by eating some freeze dried meals I brought along which are ok, but tomorrow night I want to head into town and find some southern food.
